Description
VERY IMPORTANT: No need to add Salt, Red chilli, Ginger, Garlic or anything else apart from the ingredients given below. Increase all quantities proportionally for serving more than 5 persons. Follow instructions given below as it is for best results.
Ingredients Required for 5 persons.
Boneless medium thick meat fillets | 1 kg. / 1 lb. |
Cooking oil | Enough for greasing / brushing |
Yogurt / Curd whipped | 30 gm. / 1 oz. |
Raw Papaya paste | 50 gm. / 0.5 oz. |
Green chilly paste | 3 Nos. |
Ustad Banne Nawab’s Patthar Ka Gosht Masala | 1 packet |
STEPS OF COOKING
- Mix all the above ingredients thoroughly and marinate for two hours but 4 hours if raw papaya is not available.
- Take a flat Tawa / Wok, heat and grease with some oil, reduce flame to lowest, spread the meat fillets side by side on it. Place a flat steel plate on top of meat fillets and put a clean flat stone or any heavy weight on the plate.
- Cook on lowest heat for about five minutes only, remove the weight and steel plate, turn the meat fillets upside down, pour some oil on the sides of the fillets, replace the steel plate and further cook like that for another five minutes only. Keep on repeating this process every five minutes for a couple of times till the Pathar ka Gosht is cooked thoroughly. Do not cook for more than five minutes on one side as the fillets will get stick to the Tawa / Wok.
- Garnish with raw onions, lemon, cucumbers and Serve hot with Romali Roti, Paratha, Garlic sauce / Mint chutney.
