VERY IMPORTANT: Preparations with Banne Nawab’s pastes – Need nothing Except Meat.
STEPS OF COOKING:
- In a cooking pot marinate 600g. meat with bones and entire paste. Soak 600g. of good quality basmati rice for half an hour.
- Boil 1½ L water with the contents of small pouch. Add rice and cook until it is only half done. Drain the rice and spread evenly on the marinated meat.
- Place the cooking pot on high flame until good steam come out. Remove the cooking pot and place a tawa (wok) on the stove with the flame just about touching it. Place the pot on tawa and leave for 40 minutes. Close the stove and leave the pot for another 30 minutes.
- Mix well from deep inside and serve hot with Raaeta and Ustad Banne Nawab’s Bagare Baigan or Mirchi Ka Salan.
