Description
VERY IMPORTANT: No need to add Salt, Red chilli, Ginger, Garlic or anything else apart from the ingredients given below. Increase all quantities proportionally for serving more than 5 persons. Follow instructions given below as it is for best results.
Ingredients Required for 5 persons
Minced Meat (Kheema) | 1 Kg. / Lb |
Cooking Oil | 15 Ml / 1 Tbsp |
Raw Onions Paste | 75 Gms |
Green Chilies Paste | 20 Gms |
Cilantro / Kothmir / Hara Dhanya Paste | 1 Small Bunch / 10 Twigs |
Mint Leaves / Pudina Paste | 1 Small Bunch / 10 Twigs |
Raw Papaya Paste | 8 Gms |
Ustad Banne Nawab’s Hyderabadi Sheek Kebab Masala | One Packet |
STEPS OF COOKING:
- Don’t wash the kheema.
- In a Grinder, take minced meat (kheema), Sheek kebab masala, onion paste, green chillie paste, hara dhanya / kothmir paste, mint leaves / pudina paste, & papaya paste with 15 ml oil, grind and mix thoroughly and marinate for two hours.
- Wrap the Kheema mix uniformly making thin kebabs like sheekh kebabs over skewers. Do not grease the skewers with oil and the kebabs will not stick to the skewers.
- Grill the kebabs on very low heat in an Electric / Gas / Charcoal BBQ grill / Oven grill till half done, rotating from time to time , remove skewers and keep aside & let them cook from the heat of the skewers for about 10-15 mins.
- Place them again back on the grill, Keep on brushing the kebabs with oil and continue rotating the skewers from time to time, till kebabs are done. (Don’t apply the oil before they are half done as they will not cook properly). Garnish with raw onions and lemon and Serve hot.
